The O. Winston Link Museum is housing the photographs of Winston Link that focuses on the last days of steam operation on the Norfolk and Western Railroad in the late 1950s.

Link’s place of work was right next to the Long Island Railroad operated tracks. He was always fascinated by steam locomotives and having the LIRR next door rekindled his interest and he started taking pictures. He built his own flash equipment required for his large scale railroad photos which he preferred to shoot at night.
