In Rail Pioneer you have to try finishing building your tracks before the train comes by. You get more track slots, branch tracks as the level progress. A quick and fun way to welcome to weekend…

The time that it takes for a Thalys to get to Cologne or Amsterdam from Paris is 3 hours and 15 minutes. This event was organized last year in which four leading European graffiti artists were tasked to paint a unique fresco on a Thalys train in 3 hours 15 minutes!
This advertisement for Dutch Railway at the back of the bus might cause a few fender-benders if you try to read the whole thing and forget to drive. I guess the ad might be saying you are better off reading in a train and moving than sitting in traffic and reading. I have mixed feeling about the effectiveness of this ad.
Between Trains at Zurich main station, Switzerland from Patrick Frauchiger
Zurich Main Station is the largest railway station in Zurich. Extremely central in situation, it accommodates trains from not only all over Switzerland, but other countries in Europe as well, such as Spain and the neighbouring countries France, Italy, Austria and Germany.
The ground floor has 20 tracks (Tracks 3 – 18 and 51 – 54). Tracks 3 – 18 are for trains coming from major areas in Switzerland as well as most, if not all, international trains, such as the EuroCity, Cisalpino, TGV and InterCityExpress. Tracks 51 – 54 are mostly used by regional trains.
This 1955 classic film follows the actions of railway workers who are sent to rescue a snowbound train.
